Hi all
I’m back to work on 2nd July on light duties for a couple of weeks, much to pats delight, I’ve will have been off work for nearly 9 weeks and I could get used to this quite easy as long as they keep paying me, no seriously it will be nice to see my workmates again they have been keeping in touch and I got a nice get well card from the village where I work, its nice to be missed.
I hope everyone is ok.

Hi Gillie
Its not healed yet but the nurse says its getting there and she is not going to make any predictions to how long its going to take, believe me I’ve nagged her enough, so I will be on light duties till its properly healed.
It was the occupational health doctor that decided about the light duties as I need to be doing something one for the diary I even hovered the house today lol.
How is your mum doing ? My dad just had his 88th birthday and we are going to visit him in sunny lowestoft on Sunday for a few days,
hi malcolm,
so you're getting out from under pat's feet eh??
i trust you're not going back too soon. don't overdo things and be sure to make sure you can go home if things get on top of you. easier said than done i know!
it's great that your workmates have been supportive, and i'm sure the people on your patch have missed you too. we'll miss you here, i've noticed that you have put in a lot of good work here on our forum lately!!
hope lowestoft is indeed sunny at the weekend. it's all a bit unpredictable these days, today it was really hot till after lunch, then a killer south wind got up and knocked over a lot of sue's prize plants, and now the sky is black as the ace of spades and it's coming on to rain. sad 'cos tonight is our residents association agm, and we changed it to june for the nice evenings!!
take care - john

Thanks for asking Malcolm. My mother's still adjusting to Moloney routines, which have obviously had to adapt to an extra person as well, but we're getting there and no major problems have emerged - yet! I'm just so relieved to have helped her get well again. She's a different person to the one who moved in with us last November.
John, I sympathise about the plants and the weather. We had a cloudburst thunderstorm here at 6p.m. last night, the like of which I haven't seen for years. Our patio was completely underwater, the winds were coming from 2 different directions so all the trees were twisting round like corkscrews [some further down the road losing branches in the process] and traffic was still crawling along the road an hour later because of flooding. That was when we got our electricity back, so I had to re-programme anything that runs on the mains! What price our great British summer?
Best wishes,
Gillie.

Hi Gillie

John, I hope your evening went well we had the winds then it went black with lots of lightening and luckily just a few drops of rain and then back to normal it must have saved itself for Gillie.
