Octapharma have generously donated a supply of the booklet
‘Our Immune System’, a fully illustrated description
of how the immune system works, written especially for children
with primary immunodeficiencies and published by the American
Immune Deficiency Foundation.
For the
lay person and the professional, this information pack includes
the Annual Report & Accounts and inSIGHT.
Five or more meeting days
organised around the country each year where members have
the opportunity to meet other members, participate in workshops,
and listen to clinical immunologists speak and answer questions.

Our Benefits
& Outreach Worker Jenny Jackson is in the office every
Thursday and Friday to assist members with their queries and
claims.
Jenny has
a regular column in 'INSIGHT' and members can find the most
up to date information there.

Our helpline
operates Mon-Thurs, 7-10pm. Calls are taken by trained PiA
volunteers personally involved with primary immunodeficiency.
This is
another phone service, more ‘ad hoc’ than the
After Hours Helpline, consisting of a team of trained volunteers
with personal experience who can provide telephone support
and advice on specific conditions or issues. Please contact

in touch.
